What if local markets reach saturation?



I joined Tradekey in January 2008 at the time when I was desperately searching for ways to diversify into international market. There are times in every industry when the maturity of local markets sets in with shrinking profit margins.

Free membership was a slow period where I achieved nothing more than learning the site. Hence, I invested in the Silverkey membership where the trusts of buyers lead me to get orders. This was the time which was the time for me to expand my capacity and upgrade to Goldkey membership.

The guidelines I can give about using the portals is to give more information in your posted products. It will save the time in answering common questions and helps to eventually close the sales easier.

My next growth plans are now more into product innovation. Instead of investing small amounts in many b2b portals, I found it more profitable to invest a large amount at a single portal. Here, of course, I am speaking about my industry.

I will continue using Tradekey as my success ladder.
